Senior Primary School Teacher - Key Stage 2

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Primary School Teacher to take on a leading role within the Key Stage 2 department in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Key Stage 2 teaching team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on core subjects.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and academic achievement.
• Oversee assessment, tracking, and reporting of student progress, identifying areas for intervention and support.
• Promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
• Liaise with parents and guardians, maintaining strong communication channels regarding student progress and school initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Significant experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a proven track record of positive student outcomes.
• Experience in a leadership or co-leadership role within a primary school setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum, assessment frameworks, and safeguarding policies.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
