Senior/Principal Air Safety Engineer - Permanent Location: Remote, Hybrid dependant on programme Join ISE on a High-Profile Defence Programme

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) .
• Undertake Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) .
• Produce and review FMEA / FMECA .
• Develop and maintain Hazard Logs .
• Produce and support Safety & Environmental Case Reports (SECRs) .
• Support safety cases, safety arguments and ALARP assessments.
• Develop and manage safety requirements.
• Provide safety input into system design, engineering reviews and certification activities.
• Work closely with Systems Engineering, Design, Airworthiness and customer teams.

Experience Required

We are interested in Safety Engineers with experience across one or more of the following: Fast Jets / Combat Air UAS / UAV Weapons Systems Electronic Warfare (EW) Radar & Sensors Land Safety Experience of relevant aerospace and defence safety standards is highly desirable, including: ARP4754 / ARP4754A ARP4761 / ARP4761A Def Stan 00-056 MIL-STD-882 Previous experience within Defence, Aerospace or other safety-critical engineering environments is essential.
