Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of complex chemical processes and production systems.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement robust process safety management strategies.
- Manage major capital projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification, irrespective of location.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and operational staff.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and drive innovation.
- Troubleshoot critical process issues, develop innovative solutions, and ensure continuous improvement in chemical manufacturing .
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimisation and project management.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams in a remote or distributed environment.
- In-depth knowledge of process simulation software, data analytics, and statistical process control.
- Expertise in hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
