About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Process Development Scientist to optimize and scale up their innovative biomanufacturing processes in Bristol . This role is critical for translating laboratory-scale discoveries into robust, reproducible manufacturing processes for biologics. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and compliant production of high-quality therapeutic products. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute studies to optimize upstream and downstream bioprocesses.
- Develop and validate robust analytical methods for process monitoring and control.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality.
- Lead technology transfer activities from R&D to manufacturing.
- Author technical reports, development protocols, and regulatory documentation.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development for biologics, with a strong understanding of upstream and/or downstream processing.
- Experience with scale-up activities and technology transfer.
- Knowledge of GMP manufacturing principles and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for this hybrid role in Bristol .
