Senior Process Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Design and implement process modifications, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and conduct pilot-scale trials for new processes and technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure successful scale-up and technology transfer of new products.
• Provide technical support and training to operations personnel.
• Contribute to process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement necessary safety measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of successful process optimization and scale-up projects.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and P&ID development.
• Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles and HAZOP studies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
