About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a results-oriented Senior Process Engineer to join their innovative team, operating entirely remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to optimize and troubleshoot complex chemical processes, drive efficiency improvements, and contribute to the development of sustainable manufacturing solutions. You will work closely with global project teams, providing critical engineering insights and technical support to ensure the successful execution of our strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve the performance of existing chemical manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement process modifications to enhance efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct root cause analyses for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and operations teams on process scale-up and technology transfer.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and process documentation.
- Support the design and implementation of new process equipment and control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in process simulation and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of unit operations and process control strategies.
- Experience with process hazard analysis (PHA) and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
