About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Process Engineer to join their dynamic team based in London, England, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes from conceptualization to full-scale production, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement robust safety protocols to mitigate risks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless process integration and continuous improvement.
- Manage process engineering projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and batch records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
- Proven track record in process design, scale-up, and optimization of chemical plants.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer principles.
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and P&ID development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
