About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Plymouth . This hybrid role will involve optimizing and streamlining complex industrial processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will lead improvement projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes of problems and develop effective solutions.
- Design and optimize production workflows, equipment layouts, and material handling systems.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior process and industrial engineers.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure successful process integration and performance.
- Monitor process performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal output.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering or industrial engineering .
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly desirable).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
