Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement process improvements for chemical manufacturing operations in Leicester .
- Conduct detailed process analysis, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization in efficiency and yield.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues and ensure continuous operation.
- Manage process-related projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in chemical engineering to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
- Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and HAZOP studies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for process performance metrics.
