Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement process improvements for chemical manufacturing operations in Leicester .
Conduct detailed process analysis, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization in efficiency and yield.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues and ensure continuous operation.
Manage process-related projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in chemical engineering to drive innovation.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and HAZOP studies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for process performance metrics.
