About the Role
Our client seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK . This role is essential for driving continuous improvement and ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing complex production challenges, developing innovative solutions, and leading projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process effectiveness.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process-related matters.
- Collaborate with R&D and operations teams to ensure seamless product and process introductions.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering , Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process control, statistical process control (SPC), and Lean principles.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with process simulation software is desirable.
