Senior Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead critical improvement initiatives at their facility in Sheffield . This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on optimizing complex manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving efficiency. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced engineering solutions, working closely with production teams, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Analyze complex production data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and quality issues.
• Develop and deploy advanced Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma strategies to achieve significant improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, providing expert-level solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and production, on new product introductions and process upgrades.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt required), and process validation.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software, simulation tools, and CAD.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Sheffield .
