Senior Process Safety Engineer

Our client is actively recruiting a diligent Senior Process Safety Engineer to contribute to their operations based in Coventry, West Midlands . Key Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct comprehensive Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP ) and Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's process safety management (PSM) system.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and training on process safety to engineering and operations staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in process safety engineering within the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries.
• In-depth knowledge of HAZOP, LOPA, and other risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with international safety standards and regulations (e.g., COMAH, OSHA PSM).
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
