About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead their procurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of suppliers, ensuring compliance, performance, and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely supply of necessary goods and services.
• Mentor and develop junior members of the procurement team in a remote setting.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management .
• Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
• Expertise in supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Experience with procurement software and analytics tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly in a remote context.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
