About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead their procurement initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of suppliers, ensuring compliance, performance, and risk mitigation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and ensure timely supply of necessary goods and services.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the procurement team in a remote setting.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement management .
- Demonstrated success in negotiating complex contracts and achieving significant cost savings.
- Expertise in supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Experience with procurement software and analytics tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly in a remote context.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
