Senior Procurement Partnering Manager – Cross-R&D

• Serve as an insights-driven strategic partner across R&D
• Synthesize business intelligence, spend analytics, and market trends to uncover strategic opportunities
• Provide strategic, insights-led business partnering across pRED, gRED, and Product Development
• Collaborate with customers, internal procurement teams, and transactional/operations teams to align needs, fulfill opportunities, enhance services, improve customer experience, and realize value
• Act as a subject matter expert, project lead, or workstream lead
• Develop strategies and measure and track performance
• Identify and leverage synergies across Roche
• Provide business insights and opportunities to stakeholders through the procurement organization
• Identify common operational challenges and drive enterprise-wide solutions
• Translate procurement and market data into strategic recommendations for business leaders
• Prioritize customer engagements based on potential impact
• Partner with Analytics & Insights, Market Intelligence, and Category teams to formulate data-informed hypotheses, identify market trends, and uncover efficiency or innovation opportunities
• Lead the transformation of procurement through collaboration and strategic business partnering

Requirements

• University degree required; business or life science degree preferable
• 7+ years of procurement (multi-category) or relevant sales or customer management leadership experience, ideally in a matrix organization
• Demonstrated experience across the Pharma R&D landscape, including early research environments like pRED/gRED or clinical development
• Comfortable using data, market intelligence, and business insights to build compelling narratives, test hypotheses, and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong proven success building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Enterprise thinking and ability to create solutions for business customers by fostering collaboration across the procurement network
• Action-oriented with ability to make decisions and influence others
• Curiosity, active listening, willingness to experiment, and focus on continuous learning and improvement
• Open-minded and inclusive, willing to share ideas and knowledge and receptive to feedback
• Fluent in English to business level
