About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Product Developer to join their innovative product development team based in Reading . This role is critical for driving the creation and launch of new and improved products within the dynamic FMCG industry . You will lead projects from concept to commercialization, working closely with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to ensure products meet consumer needs and business objectives. This is a key position for an individual passionate about product innovation and bringing successful products to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end product development process for new and existing FMCG products .
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Develop product specifications, formulations, and prototypes, ensuring they meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless product scale-up and production.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely product launches.
- Prepare product documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Developer or Product Scientist, with a strong focus on FMCG or consumer goods.
- Demonstrated success in bringing new products from concept to market launch.
- Strong understanding of product formulation, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience with regulatory requirements relevant to the FMCG sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
