About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead product initiatives within their organization, based in Derby . This role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring that our client's offerings meet market needs and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring successful products to market. As a key leader in the product development process in Derby , you will champion the voice of the customer and make data-informed decisions to shape the future of our client's product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs and market opportunities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog and manage the product development lifecycle in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
- Launch new products and features, coordinating with marketing, sales, and support teams for successful go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback and iterating to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products.
- Strong understanding of product management methodologies, Agile development, and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent market research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
