Location: Scunthorpe Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–13:00 Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands-on Senior Production & Quality Engineer to join a well-established electronics manufacturing business. This is a varied role combining production engineering and quality, with approximately 75% of the position based on the shop floor and 25% focused on desk-based activities. Working closely with production, engineering and quality teams, you will help improve manufacturing processes, resolve quality issues and ensure products consistently meet the required standards. Duties of a Senior Quality & Production Engineer:

• Work closely with production teams on the shop floor to improve processes and product quality
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling and fixtures
• Support new product introduction and ensure products are suitable for manufacture
• Program, operate and troubleshoot automated test and production equipment
• Carry out root-cause investigations using tools such as 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone analysis
• Support and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001
• Monitor production quality, yields and key performance indicators
• Implement corrective and preventative actions to reduce defects and improve efficiency
• Support testing and inspection activities
• Provide guidance and technical support to production operators and technicians
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles
• Support supplier quality activities and investigate component-related issues What you need to apply for Senior Quality & Production xwwtmva Engineer:
• Hands-on experience within an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment
• Strong production engineering background, ideally with some quality experience
• Experience working directly on the shop floor rather than purely in a desk-based engineering role
• Experience with electronic assembly and hand assembly techniques
• Knowledge of IPC standards and automated test/assembly equipment
• Experience working with ISO 9001, QMS and quality audits
