About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Engineer to enhance oil and gas production operations through innovative strategies and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze well and facility performance data to identify production opportunities and operational issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for artificial lift optimization, artificial lift system design, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production declines and equipment failures, proposing effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers and drilling teams to ensure optimal well performance and efficient resource extraction.
- Manage production enhancement projects, including workovers, chemical treatments, and facility upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in all production activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry .
- Strong understanding of production operations, artificial lift systems, and wellbore diagnostics.
- Experience with production optimization software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.
