About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Production Engineer to enhance their operational performance in Southampton . This role involves optimizing production from existing oil and gas assets, ensuring efficient and safe extraction of hydrocarbons. You will analyze well performance, identify opportunities for production enhancement, and troubleshoot operational challenges. This position offers a vital role in maximizing asset value within the Oil & Gas industry, working within a team that values technical expertise, innovation, and sustainable operational practices. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and profitability across various production sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze well and field production data to identify trends and issues.
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing production, including artificial lift and well intervention planning.
• Troubleshoot production problems, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare production forecasts, reports, and economic evaluations for asset management.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, facilities engineers, and operations teams to ensure integrated asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in production engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong understanding of production systems, artificial lift methods, and well testing.
• Proficiency in production data analysis software and well performance modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
