About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Production Engineer to join their Asset Development team in Oxford . This role is vital for optimizing the performance of oil and gas fields, ensuring efficient and safe production operations. You will analyze production data, implement enhancement strategies, and work closely with reservoir engineers and geologists to maximize hydrocarbon recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze daily production data from wells and facilities, identifying trends and deviations.
- Develop and implement strategies for production optimization, including artificial lift system design and well stimulation programs.
- Troubleshoot production-related issues, conduct root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers to ensure production plans are aligned with reservoir management objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, economic evaluations, and recommendations for production enhancement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in production software, nodal analysis, and artificial lift technologies.
- Solid understanding of reservoir performance, wellbore hydraulics, and surface facilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
