Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking for your next challenge? If so, this opportunity cannot be missed! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Senior Production Engineer due to growth in the business.
Senior Production Engineer – Key responsibilities:
Develop, optimise and maintain multi-axis CNC programmes using CAM software. Design and implement effective production tooling, fixtures and manufacturing solutions. Take ownership of manufacturing processes from initial concept through to production. Support new product introduction, process development and continuous improvement activities on the shop floor. Provide technical support to production teams while ensuring compliance with quality, Health & Safety.
Senior Production Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience (5 years+) in CAM programming, using Siemens NX or similar. Manufacturing engineering experience within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or precision engineering. Experience in manufacturing, production engineering and fixture design. Strong knowledge of GD&T. Relevant HNC, HND, degree-level qualification or apprentice trained. Practical problem-solving skills, with experience of Teamcenter, Vericut or SAP.
