About the Role

Our client is recruiting a skilled Senior Production Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality at their facility in Glasgow . You will work closely with production teams, quality control, and maintenance to ensure smooth, reliable, and safe operations. Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product consistency.
• Implement process improvements and new technologies to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing principles and unit operations .
• Experience with process troubleshooting, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in using process monitoring and control systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
