About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Technologist to join their fully remote team and play a key role in optimizing hydrocarbon production. This position focuses on improving recovery rates, ensuring well productivity, and resolving complex production challenges across various fields. You will leverage your deep understanding of production systems, flow assurance, and well performance to drive efficiency and value. This is an exciting opportunity within the Oil & Gas industry for a motivated professional to make a significant impact on operational performance and resource maximization from a remote-first location.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze well performance data and production trends to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing hydrocarbon recovery and production rates.
- Conduct flow assurance studies to predict and mitigate potential issues like hydrates, wax, and emulsions.
- Troubleshoot complex production problems, including artificial lift and processing issues.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geologists, and facilities engineers to develop integrated production plans.
- Provide technical guidance on the design and operation of production facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in production technology or production engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Strong knowledge of production systems, artificial lift methods, and wellbore hydraulics .
- Proven experience in flow assurance analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency with production simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
