About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Architect to lead significant projects from their office in Reading . This role requires a proven leader with a strong commercial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of architectural design, project management, and construction processes within the UK . You will be responsible for overseeing project teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex architectural schemes. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the architectural design and delivery of large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee and mentor project teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, building strong professional relationships.
• Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of design quality, technical execution, and regulatory compliance across the UK .

Requirements

• Full UK Architect registration with the ARB or RIBA.
• A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, with substantial experience in project leadership.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
• Expertise in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and project management tools.
• Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations, planning law, and contract administration.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
