About the Role
Our client seeks an accomplished Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage diverse projects within the oil and gas sector , based in Nottingham . This role requires a strong understanding of project lifecycle management, from conception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of oil and gas projects .
- Develop project scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee contract administration, procurement, and vendor management.
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Conduct regular project reviews and report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Civil) or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project engineering or project management within the oil and gas industry .
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with complex requirements.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
