Senior Project Manager - Business Process Improvement

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead business process improvement initiatives within their Nottingham-based organisation. This role is key to identifying inefficiencies, streamlining operations, and implementing best practices across various departments to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with department heads and operational teams to design and execute strategies that drive significant organisational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of projects focused on business process improvement and operational excellence.
• Analyse existing business processes to identify areas for enhancement, optimisation, and automation.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
• Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Implement new processes and technologies, overseeing change management efforts and ensuring smooth transitions.
• Monitor project progress, measure outcomes against objectives, and report findings and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on business process analysis and improvement.
• Proven success in delivering projects that result in significant operational efficiency gains or cost reductions.
• Strong understanding of process mapping tools, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and change management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
