About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to oversee the implementation and enhancement of critical Business Systems within their organisation in Derby . You will be responsible for managing projects that improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and integrate new technologies into the existing business infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of various business systems, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise software solutions. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption, contributing to the technological advancement of our Derby -based operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects involving business system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
- Manage cross-functional teams comprising IT specialists, business analysts, and end-users to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee the testing, training, and deployment phases of business system projects, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations in Derby .
- Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide regular status reports and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on implementing and managing business systems such as ERP, CRM, or SCM.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex enterprise software projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes across various departments (e.g., finance, sales, operations).
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
