About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects in and around Aberdeen, Scotland . This pivotal role involves managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be instrumental in driving project success, fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders, and upholding our client's reputation for excellence in the construction industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on key infrastructure developments within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, implementing effective contingency plans as needed.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project progression.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success as a Project Manager in the construction sector, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
