Senior Project Manager - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a strong background in the construction sector to join their team in Milton Keynes . This role is central to managing a portfolio of diverse construction projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, safely, and within stringent quality parameters. You will be responsible for all facets of project delivery, from initial planning and procurement through to on-site supervision and final handover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead impactful construction projects and contribute to the growth and development of the region, working closely with site teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction project activities, ensuring compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budget forecasts, meticulously tracking progress against these benchmarks.
• Manage relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor quality, identify potential risks, and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and clients, detailing progress, expenditures, and any deviations from the plan.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and readily available.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in construction project management , with a proven ability to deliver large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
