About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead significant digital transformation initiatives from their base in Southampton . This role is pivotal in guiding the organization through technological advancements and process improvements designed to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, involving cross-functional teams, external vendors, and significant budget oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical understanding, strong leadership, and exceptional communication skills to navigate the complexities of change management and drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, mitigating risks and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with IT, business units, and external partners to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Drive change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and workflows across the organization.
- Monitor project performance, providing regular and comprehensive status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative project environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on digital or IT transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, large-scale technology projects.
- Solid understanding of various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and their application.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, cloud migration, or other major digital platforms is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or Agile certification preferred.
