Senior Project Manager - Energy Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant energy infrastructure projects from their hub in Norwich . This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the project lifecycle in the energy sector. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects, managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of energy infrastructure projects, from initiation to close-out.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress against milestones, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on energy infrastructure projects (e.g., renewables, grid, power generation).
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2, PMP) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and third-party contractors.
