About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead key projects within the energy sector, based out of Norwich, Norfolk . This role requires a seasoned professional capable of managing large-scale energy infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping significant energy developments and driving project success in a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex energy projects .
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee and coordinate project teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor project progress, provide regular reports, and manage project financials.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a significant portion within the energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
