Senior Project Manager - Facilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to oversee significant facilities and capital projects in the Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire area. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and effective management of infrastructure upgrades, maintenance programs, and new builds. You will be responsible for managing all project phases, from initial planning and budgeting to execution and successful completion, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of facilities and capital projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee procurement processes, contractor selection, and contract management.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project performance and quality.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management , with a strong background in facilities or capital project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and leading project teams.
• Thorough understanding of building maintenance, construction, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Relevant qualification in Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
