Senior Project Manager - Healthcare IT

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Healthcare IT to join their team in Liverpool, Merseyside, UK . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of various Healthcare IT projects , including EMR/EHR implementations, system upgrades, and data migration initiatives.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals.
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to define project requirements and ensure successful integration of new systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and NHS guidelines.
• Develop and implement robust risk management plans to identify and mitigate potential issues that could impact project success.
• Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to senior management and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with at least 4 years focused on the Healthcare IT sector.
• Proven experience managing projects related to Electronic Health Records (EHR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), or other clinical information systems.
• Solid understanding of healthcare workflows, data privacy regulations, and IT infrastructure within a clinical environment.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies .
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
