Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Development

About the Role

Our client requires a proactive and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major infrastructure development projects in the Bristol region, working in a fully remote capacity. This role is essential for overseeing the planning and execution of diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. You will be responsible for managing all project phases, from initial feasibility studies and design to construction and final handover, coordinating with a variety of stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure development projects , from initiation, planning, and execution to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scopes, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong track record in infrastructure development (e.g., civil, utilities, public works).
• Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects and complex stakeholder environments.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure design, construction processes, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools for planning and tracking.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
