Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in Plymouth . This role requires a leader capable of managing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between on-site project engagement and remote administrative tasks, contributing to effective project oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects from inception to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project status reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
• 7+ years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and construction best practices .
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a hybrid environment , managing teams and projects effectively.
