Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects to join their team in Reading . This critical role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex infrastructure development and upgrade projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring alignment with strategic organizational goals and compliance with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all project sites.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
• Provide regular, detailed reports to senior management on project status, risks, and key milestones.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex construction, engineering, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is essential.
