Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects in Southampton . This hybrid role combines strategic planning and remote oversight with essential on-site presence to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure developments. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution and closure, ensuring projects meet stringent quality, safety, and budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, in a hybrid environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor project performance, identify deviations, and implement effective corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, financial updates, and risk assessments to senior management and relevant authorities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager , specifically within the infrastructure sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and familiarity with hybrid work collaboration tools.
• A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
