Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in IT Infrastructure to drive key projects from a remote setting, with an operational base near Liverpool . This role is crucial for overseeing the implementation and upgrade of IT systems, networks, and hardware, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption. You will collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions, fostering a productive remote working culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects , including planning, procurement, implementation, and decommissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Coordinate activities between internal IT teams, external vendors, and business units to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular project status reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager , with a strong focus on IT infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in managing projects related to network upgrades, server deployments, cloud migration, or data center management.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, particularly in a remote setting.
• Proficiency with project management software and collaboration tools.
