Senior Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in IT Infrastructure to lead critical projects. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from any location within the UK. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex IT infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and network enhancements. This role is ideal for a leader who can drive strategic technical initiatives, manage cross-functional teams virtually, and ensure the robustness and scalability of our client's technological backbone, all within a flexible, remote-first framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, execution, and completion of large-scale IT infrastructure projects .
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee the implementation of new hardware, software, cloud services, and network solutions.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to security standards, compliance regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) as a Senior Project Manager , specifically in IT infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or deployments.
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), server technologies, and data centers.
• Experience with project management software and collaboration tools essential for remote work.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills for a distributed workforce.
