THE OPPORTUNITY

We are partnering with a respected employee-owned Tier 1 contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure to join their Toronto operation.

This role sits within a high-performing Infrastructure division delivering major transportation and transit projects across Ontario.

Projects include:

• Roads & Highways
• Bridges & Interchanges
• Heavy Rail & Light Rail
• LRT & BRT Systems
• Airports
• Major Civil Infrastructure

Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead complex project delivery while managing teams, stakeholders and project strategy from planning through execution.

This is a leadership role for someone who understands complexity and knows how to deliver major infrastructure successfully.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead project execution across major infrastructure schemes
• Drive project safety, environmental and quality performance
• Oversee schedules, cost reporting and project controls
• Manage change orders, commercial processes and risk mitigation
• Chair project meetings and lead stakeholder engagement
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor packages
• Drive project planning and delivery strategy
• Monitor productivity, forecasting and financial performance
• Mentor and develop project teams and future leaders
• Resolve disputes and manage complex project challenges
• Maintain strong client, consultant and subcontractor relationships
• Champion a high-performance and safety-first culture

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 15+ years direct construction project management experience
• Strong infrastructure delivery background
• Transit / Rail sector experience essential
• Proven success leading large-scale or complex projects
• Strong commercial, operational and stakeholder management capability
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop project teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Technical Trade Qualification
• Construction Management / Engineering / Related Degree
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls
• Experience across heavy civil, rail or transportation infrastructure environments
