Senior Project Manager - Operations

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to enhance their operational efficiency and drive key initiatives in Wolverhampton . This role is essential for leading complex operational projects, optimising business processes, and implementing new systems that improve productivity and service delivery. You will collaborate with department heads, operational teams, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution and achieve tangible business improvements. The successful candidate will be adept at change management, possess strong analytical skills, and have a proven ability to deliver impactful operational transformations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of strategic operational projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Oversee risk management and issue resolution for operational projects in West Midlands .

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management , with a strong focus on operations or process improvement.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex operational projects and change initiatives.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse complex operational data and translate findings into actionable plans.
