Senior Project Manager - Renewable Energy

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Senior Project Manager to join their pioneering team in Bristol , focusing on renewable energy projects. This role is essential for managing the development and implementation of innovative clean energy solutions, from initial planning through to commissioning. You will collaborate with engineers, technical experts, and external partners to ensure projects meet stringent quality, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, or other clean technologies.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including utility companies, government bodies, and investors.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management , preferably within the renewable energy or utilities sector.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycles, risk assessment, and contract management.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex project deliverables.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools relevant to engineering projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly valued.
