Senior Project Manager - Research & Development

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of R&D projects from ideation to proof-of-concept and beyond.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company R&D strategy and objectives.
• Manage and motivate cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and external partners, in a hybrid setting.
• Oversee the identification and assessment of new technologies and potential product opportunities.
• Manage project risks, intellectual property considerations, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
• Communicate project progress, key findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management , with a significant focus on Research & Development.
• Proven success in managing complex, innovative, and technically challenging projects.
• Strong understanding of R&D lifecycles, product development processes, and stage-gate methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with portfolio management and resource allocation in an R&D context.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline; PhD or PMP certification is a plus.
