Senior Project Manager - Software Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Software Development to lead critical product initiatives from Bradford . You will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires a leader who excels in fostering collaboration, managing complex dependencies, and driving continuous improvement within an Agile framework. You will play a key part in translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring that our client's software offerings remain competitive and innovative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software development projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
• Facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Communicate project status, key metrics, and potential roadblocks to senior management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software development projects , preferably in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
