Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in Supply Chain to drive critical optimisation and transformation projects in Derby . This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead complex initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the resilience of the supply chain network. You will collaborate with internal logistics, procurement, and operations teams, as well as external partners, to implement best practices and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of supply chain improvement projects across the organisation.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators.
• Identify and analyse areas for optimisation within procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and project success.
• Implement new supply chain technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for projects impacting Derbyshire operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in project management , with a significant focus on supply chain or logistics.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex supply chain transformation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies.
