Senior Project Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead key projects within their Supply Chain operations, based in Stoke-on-Trent . You will manage projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of supply chain projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and network optimisation.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, milestones, resource allocation, and budget.
• Manage project risks, identify issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of supply chain initiatives.
• Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in Project Management , with a significant focus on Supply Chain or Logistics projects.
• Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software and ERP systems.
