Senior Project Manager - Technology

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a strong background in technology to join their innovative team in Milton Keynes . This role involves leading the planning and execution of technology-driven projects, from software development to infrastructure upgrades. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet strategic goals and enhance operational capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and technology projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budget effectively, utilizing agile and waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing proactive mitigation and contingency plans.
• Oversee the development and implementation of new software solutions and system integrations in Milton Keynes .
• Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and deliver the intended business value and technical outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, with a significant focus on technology projects.
• Proven experience with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; PMP certification is a significant advantage.
