Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join their team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire . This role is vital for overseeing and guiding significant projects from inception to successful completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while managing stakeholder expectations and leading project teams effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of assigned projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within project teams and with all stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, budget adherence, and quality metrics, providing regular and accurate status reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project management best practices .

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in project management , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in utilizing both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with project management software and tools is required for this Sheffield -based role.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
