Senior Project Manager

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of critical business projects. You will work closely with various departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets for assigned projects.
• Identify and assess project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among all members.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies and quality standards.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in project management , with a demonstrable history of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project or similar tools.
• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required for this Manchester -based role.
